Geraldine “Geri” Capuano

Geri Capuano passed away on Sunday, January 18, 2026, just a few days after her beloved husband, John.   Inseparable in life, they remain side by side.  Geri will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her.

Known for her thoughtfulness and generosity.  Her warmth, kindness, and quiet strength left a lasting impression on family and friends alike.

She is survived by her children, Susan Torrisi and John R. Capuano; son‑in‑law Steve, daughter‑in‑law Ginger; and her greatest JOY, her grandchildren, Carson Torrisi, Sienna and Chloe Capuano.

A private burial was held.  A joint celebration of life for Geri and John will be held at St James Episcopal Church - Montclair on February 1, 2026 at 12:15 pm.  

In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center on behalf of Geri and John Capuano.
